Octubre de 1993, Jorge Hernández a la edad de 17 años cursaba segundo año de estudios musicales en el Centro Nacional de Artes y junto a sus hermanos Lito Portillo de 20 años (estudiante de ingeniería en la U.E.S.) y Ronald Hernández con 11 años de edad (que también recibía clases de música en una academia), dan inicio al sueño mas grande de sus vidas; incorporando a esta alineación original de la banda a John Méndez (profesor de ingles) y J Olivares, (este ultimo compañero de estudios de Jorge Hernández).
Con tan solo 6 ensayos fueron invitados a participar en un festival en la Universidad de El Salvador, con sede en San Miguel, ciudad natal de los integrantes de esta nueva agrupación. Al no contar con un nombre improvisan presentándose como "TNT", nombre tomado del amplificador para bajo TNT 115.
TNT estaba formado por Jorge Hernández en la guitarra líder, Lito Portillo en la batería, Ronald Hernández en los teclados, J Olivares en el bajo y John Méndez en la voz y guitarra rítmica.
Ejecutando canciones de bandas de heavy metal de la época y baladas del Glam, además de una canción original (la magia del rock) realizan una serie de conciertos locales.
Para 1995 John Méndez y J Olivares abandonan la agrupación por razones personales, fue en ese mismo año que Marvin Martínez se presenta a recibir clases de guitarra, en la academia musical que Jorge Hernández y Lito Portillo tenían como un proyecto aparte de la banda, así descubren en el nuevo alumno un timbre de voz llamativo y le ofrecen integrarlo al grupo como vocalista (claro que pasaron varios años y muchos ensayos para lograr un buen resultado, ahh! y nunca aprendió a tocar la guitarra).
Como TNT grabaron 2 canciones (La tierra y la bestia y Tus recuerdos).

En 1997 los hermanos Portillo Hernández emigran a San Salvador ciudad capital de la república y pasan ese año sin mucho trabajo en la banda; fue para 1998 que deciden cambiar el nombre de la banda a LETHAL INJECTION esto debido a algunos problemas y siguen sin mucha actividad, pero escribiendo canciones.
En el año 2000 se reúnen para ensayar música original y posteriormente grabarla, se hace un relanzamiento de la banda con el nombre de VERTIGO METAL y se planifican conciertos.
Para este lanzamiento el grupo queda constituido de la siguiente forma:
Jorge Hernández en la guitarra, Lito Portillo en la batería, Ronald Hernández como bajista y Marvin Martínez en la voz. Como fruto de este trabajo se presentó el CD MURIENDO EN LA OSCURIDAD, que contenía 11 temas este a nivel publicitario (2001).
Fue en el año 2004 que graban y producen el CD HEROÍNA DEL INFIERNO y realizan giras promociónales, este disco es una recopilación del CD MURIENDO EN LA OSCURIDAD, más 5 nuevos temas.

October 1993, Jorge Hernández of 17 years old. With only 6 trials they were invited to participate in a festival at the University of El Salvador, based in San Miguel, hometown of members of this new grouping. By not having a name appearing improvise as "TNT", a name taken from the amplifier for TNT under 115. TNT was formed by Jorge Hernández on guitar leader, Lito Portillo in the battery, Ronald Hernández on keyboards, Olivares J on bass and John Mendez in the voice and rhythm guitar. Running songs by heavy metal bands of the era of Glam and ballads, plus an original song ("La magia del rock") conducted a series of local concerts.
By 1995 John Mendez and J Olivares leave the group for personal reasons, was in the same year that Marvin Martinez was introduced to receive guitar classes in the academy musical what Jorge Hernández and Lito Portillo had become a separate project of the band and discovered in the new student striking a tone and suggested integrating the group as vocalist (but spent several years and many trials to achieve a good result, ahh! and never learned to play guitar).
